QB Anthony Calvillo capped the drive with a 1 yard run for the touchdown. Paul Osbaldiston tied the game with the convert. B.C. took advantage of a Hamilton fumble minutes later. Danny McManus took three plays following the recovery to throw a 10 yard touchdown pass to Matt Clark. Passaglia’s convert gave the Lions a 1 TD lead at the end of the quarter. Early in the second quarter, Passaglia missed a 31 yard field goal attempt for B.C. but did manage to score the single. Ten minutes later Passaglia made good on a 13 yard field goal attempt. On B.C.’s next possession, Philpot scored his second TD of the game. McManus connected with Philpot for the 70 yard passing TD. Passaglia’s convert gave B.C. an 18 point lead going into half-time. Passaglia put 3 more points on the board for the Lions sending a 22 yard field goal attempt through the uprights. Hamilton’s Earl Winfield scored the other Tiger-Cat touchdown catching a 10 yard pass from Calvillo. Osbaldiston kicked the convert. The rest of the game belonged to the Lions. Philpot’s third TD of the game came on a 1 yard rush capping a drive in which he carried the ball on all 5 plays. Continuing his outstanding play, Philpot ran the ball in from the 23-yard line for his fourth TD of the game. An interception by the Lions Enis Jackson set up one more touchdown. FB Paul Blackwood took the ball in from the 5-yard line making the final score B.C. 49 — Hamilton 14. The win moves the Lions 4 points ahead of the Tiger-Cats in the Northern Division.
