For both the Roughriders and the Lions, this game was categorized as a must win. Both teams entered this match with identical 3-9 records and a win was critical to any playoff hopes that either team may have. LB Virgil Robertson put the game out of reach at 8:57 when he stepped in front of a QB Heath Rylance pass and returned it 41 yards for the major score. Passaglia’s convert rounded out the scoring giving the Lions a well deserved 22-10 victory and in turn, keeping their playoffs hopes alive.
