Benefit game arranged to support injured Argonaut player W.E. Gladstone "Glad" Murphy. Murphy was paralyzed in an Oct. 9th game. At the time of the benefit game, Glad had spent seven weeks in St. Michael's Hospital in critical condition with no hope for recovery. About $2,500 in gate receipts were raised from the game and turned over to Glad. Another $200 was raised by the auction of the game ball at half time, the purchase coming from the St. Michael's Hockey Club, for which Murphy had been a member of for three seasons.
